In the Netherlands the Equestrian Centre the Peelbergen is the first venue to begin with the international show season again. After a go ahead from the Dutch government the Peelbergen team is going full steam ahead with organising national & international outdoor shows.
The first event on the calendar is the Warming-up CSI from Wednesday 15 – Friday 17 July. This Warming-up CSI has been issued to get into the international show rhythm. Since the first license for an official CSI is issued for mid-July, the Warming-up CSI is a national show based on everything you would experience at a regular CSI.
Meaning the courses are built by International renowned course builder Louis Konickx and there is a 1.45m Grand Prix on Friday with a total prize sum of 15.000 euro. The program will be the same as during a CSI, but with flexible jumping. The entry fees include stabling, enabling your horses to stay at the Peelbergen just like with a regular CSI. This mean that riders who have not jumped internationally since the outbreak of the corona virus or riders than have been waitlisted for other CSI’s can enter and get their horses into the international show rhythm in Kronenberg.
The two weeks following the Warming-up CSI are filled with CSI**, CSI* & CSIYH jumping from 23 – 26 July & 30 July – 2 August.
