Flanders Foal Auction has good memories of the last embryo auction at Sentower Park in December 2021. The price highlight was a full sibling of multi medal winner H&M All-In for 52,000 euro. The new owner was a Belgian entrepreneur who missed out when a full brother slipped through his hands at a Flanders Foal Auction earlier that year for 130,000 euro, but now secured an unborn foal with the same genes.
An embryo auction is a great opportunity to invest in something special, most of the time for less money than during a foal auction. By closing an insurance after purchase you can reduce the financial risk.
On Saturday, February 4, the team of Flanders Foal Auction will be back at Sentower Park in Opglabbeek (Belgium). “We have 23 embryos to auction and in between we have Holger Hetzel and Henner Hoeschen from Germany as guest speakers. It’s going to be a really nice evening”, Luk Van Puymbroeck and Gerald Lenaerts tell.
Again, Flanders has an embryo out of the dam of H&M All-In, this time sired by Chacco Blue and it will be filly! Last year Grand Prix rider Peter Charles purchased a full brother with stunning looks during one of the Flanders Foal Auctions for 60,000 euro.
The new collection has many highlights. There is a grandchild of Jos Lansink’s Olympic mare Valentina van ‘t Heike and multiple 5* Grand Prix winners Walnut de Muze (Harrie Smolders) and Ohlala (Lauren Hough). Or what about the Conthargos out of the full sister to 1.70m Grand Prix stallion H&M Extra and a Chacco Blue with Sterrehof’s Ushi as half-sister? There are also two Heartbreakers, one out of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Cayenne WD Z (Calvaro Z) and one out of the half-sister to Olympic champion Big Star.
The auction starts at 20.00h CET and can be followed live or online at www.flandersfoalauction.be . The auction of every embryo opens with 5.000 euro.
