Worldwide the client circle of Youhorse.auction felt like a kid in a candy store because of the interesting 56-items collection knocked down on Tuesday 4 July. Buyers from the USA could therefore not resist the temptation and were the best buyers with several purchases. One of them was the auction topper of the evening: Candy (Coleo x Donald).

The 10-yr-old mare will continue her experience at 1.30m level on the other side of the ocean for 36,000 euro. The USA claimed several other high-flyers from the collection, such as the 7-yr-old mare Glorieuse de Roulard (Upsilon x Mister Saygon) for 32,000 euro. The 6-yr-old mares Tout de Toi vh Beeckhof Z (Toulon x Diabeau) and Elle Cover Z (Eldorado van de Zeshoek TN x Kannan) will also move to the USA for 26,000 euro and 24,000 euro, respectively.

The strongest competition came from within the European borders. Italian buyers invested in five horses, but Spain and Germany followed suit with four horses each. With a few euros difference the 3-yr-old gelding Amadex Z (Amadeo van ’t Vossenhof x Quite Capitol) almost scored best in the auction. This mega talent changed hands for 35,575 euro and stays in the Netherlands.

The 5-yr-old gelding Nairobi RM (I’m Special de Muze x Boreas) will go to Belgium for 26,000 euro. Same price was paid for the 5-yr-old Nitouche v/d Wolfsakker (Diarado x Toulon), who will cross over to the United Kingdom. The charming Oh La La (Orplid x Lesotho) won the heart of Maltese buyers because of her free jumping talent and they were willing to pay 32,000 euro for the 3-yr-old. Poland was the winner of a fierce bidding duel for the 4-yr-old Denali (Denver x Levisto Z) knocked down for 24,000 euro.

Breeding auction on 1 August
The next edition of Youhorse.auction is centered on breeding. An enthusiastic Mario Everse reveals: “On Tuesday 1 August the collection consists of, besides a group of attractive sport horses under saddle and free jumping talents, several mares in foal, foals and broodmares. This will therefore be an auction with an extremely varied collection. The selection days are planned for next week, 10 and 11 July. So, anyone looking for a remarkable sport talent, a good foal, an interesting broodmare or an exclusive cross to be born, can enter via www.youhorse.auction!”
