The two-day Youhorse.auction has kicked off strongly with the breeding auction. The pregnant broodmare Naya out of the line of Plot Blue was the highlight of the auction. Today, the second part of the auction is all about sporthorses, youngsters and two ponies. Organizer Mario Everse advises: “Get ready to bid, because there are future stars among these horses!”
American buyers paid €15,000 for the six-year-old mare Naya (Stakkato Gold x Bamako de Muze), who is expecting a foal by Jaguar van de Berghoeve next year. The five-year-old mare El Bonita (El Barone III x Untouchable), in foal to Dominator 2000 Z, was sold for €11,000 to a buyer in Norway. Another mare, the 3-year-old An Unexpected Gamble (Untouchable x Clinton, pregnant by Bamako de Muze), is also heading to Norway.
The broodmare Baluga SW Z (Balou du Rouet x Heartbreaker), pregnant by Kasanova de la Pomme, was purchased by a Belgian buyer. Diarado’s daughter Super Song was the highest-priced foal, selling for €10,000, and will be heading to the United States.
Mario Everse comments: “Thanks to the trust of the sellers, we’ve been able to put together an outstanding selection for this edition. You could almost consider it two collections: a breeding collection and a sport horse collection. We got off to a great start yesterday, Monday, with broodmares and foals. I’m confident that the buyers have made smart investments in these interesting horses. Today, we continue with round two, featuring young loose jumping talents and ridden horses.
