The ESI-Elite Foalauction started yesterday, June 24th, 2021 and closes on
Saturday 8 p.m., June 26th, 2021. The small but fine lot consists 20 prospects of exceptional quality – offspring from world-famous show jumping sires and promising young stallions. The sires of the foals are
Armison, Berlin (Caspar), Charthago Blue OLD, Cornet Obolensky, Casall, Cavoiro H, Comme il Faut, Diamant de Semilly, Eldorado vd Zeshoek, Grandorado TN, Hardrock Z, L.B. Convall, Lord Pezi, Nevados S and
Zirocco Blue. Several dams and granddames already have produced numerous top international horses. There are a colt from the winner of the Grand Prix of Aachen, L.B. Convall with Phillip Weishaupt, a colt by Lord Pezi – sire of numerous international top horses and the exceptional jumper Berlin who became Team World- and European-Champion with Gerco Schröder.
Bred by experienced horse experts and personally selected by the auction managers Otto Vaske and Henrik Klatte in well-known breeding stables – the auction lot promises great hopes for the future. “There are many reasons to invest in a top foal, as proven by several ESI athletes. There is hardly any chance of acquiring something special at a later point in time,” says Henrik Klatte Some examples are the horses Varone with Jos Verlooy (BEL) and Tullibard’s Bennys Legacy with Adrienne Sternlicht (USA), who both have been Double-Clear at the FEI Longines Nations Cup in Sopot/Poland last weekend.
