The first auction night of the Zangersheide Quality Auction during the FEI WBFSH Jumping World Breeding Championship for Young Horses was a hit. With massive attention both live & online, a total of fourteen 2,3 and 4-year-olds were auctioned off. The highest selling lot was a two-year-old stallion, Don Julio T40 Z, by Diamant de Semilly x Cento.
Don Julio T40 Z sold for 130.000 euro. With Centa de Muze as his dam, 1.60m Grand Prix grand dam Walloon de Muze and great grand dam Qerly Chin, this stallion is not only a prospect for his breeding genes but has also inherited very promising sports genes.
Another horse sold for six figures. Dominator 2000 Z daughter Dolce Vita vd Holstenhoeve Z changed owners for 100,000 euro. Less than 50% of the horses will remain in Belgium. The sold lots will travel as far as the Unites States of America and other leaving for France, Italy, Mexico, Germany and Norway.
On Friday & Saturday there are two more evenings on which the hammer will sound. 82 of the most promising Z-foals will come up for auction.
