The second night of the Valentine auction from Youhorse.auction could again count on many enthusiasts. Cupido often hit bull’s eye, as, for example, for the American buyers of Nayel d’Andrea W (by Stakkato Gold) who was knocked down for 28,000 euro.
Mario Everse is very pleased: “It went extraordinarily well! The first night had already been running well and in this second round the prices were even a little better. Many horses were sold abroad again, of course, but the Dutch buyers were wide awake, too. Many of them managed to get a good deal and one of them even bought five horses. It was also gratifying to see several regular customers in action, who were already proudly presenting their new purchases on social media.”
The star of this auction, Nayel d’Andrea W, was bred by Alan Waldman out of Gert-Jan Bruggink’s former Grand Prix mare Andrea (by Marome NW). For 28,000 euro he will cross over to the USA. The remarkably colored Coco (Obos Quality 004 x Benbulbin) also managed to steal many hearts. After a stiff bidding duel, the 5-yr-old mare ended up in Greek hands for 26,000 euro. This buyer had already done good business on Monday and his newest purchases added to his over-all stock-up of nine horses.
Four horses were knocked down by the virtual hammer for 22,000 euro. The 3-yr-old stallion Profit I.K. (Conthargos x Vaillant) will leave for Mexico. The equally old Cash and Go (Chacfly PS x Voltaire) will travel to Switzerland. The 5-yr-old Nikita (Falaise de Muze x Indorado) goes to Ireland and the 4-yr-old Ofaviana (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Baltic VDL) will stay in the Netherlands.
Next auction already in full swing
The next edition of Youhorse.auction will end on 7 March. The organization is already in full swing and Mario Everse reveals a little already: “It will be an auction for sport and breeding. It will be a very diverse collection with, amongst others, embryos, broodmares, free jumping talents and horses under saddle. It caters for every taste. The video days will be on next Monday 13 and Tuesday 14 February at Stal Everse. People who still has something really special to offer can enter their horses via the website.”
