The talents from the June auction of Youhorse.auction have ended up in the hands of real fans, professionals and even an Olympic rider. Auction topper was the first auction horse, the 4-year-old stallion Liberty (Livello x Cornet Obolensky) who went to Mexico for 40,000 euro.
Also remarkable was that items number two and three claimed a podium eplace on the platform. The 6-year-old gelding Zlatan (Zinedine x Con Capitol) will continue his career in Denmark for 36,000 euro and the 5-year-old gelding Luis Z (Luigi d’Eclipse x Couleur Rubin) was sold to Germany for 34,000 euro.
Besides purchases made by Scandinavia, Spain, the USA and United Arabian Emirates for example, there was also a remarkable amount of interest from Great Britain and Canada. Five horses will move to latter country, including the 9-year-old Maestro BVL Z (Mylord Carthago x Velusinus R) and the 5-year-old Ermitage Kalone daughter Ellis Z.
Buyers from the United Kingdom placed the winning bid of 24,000 euro on the 5-yr-old gelding Outsider (Emerald van ’t Ruytershof x Equador). The experienced Monaco PC (Cohinoor VDL x Warrant) will continue his career in Kuweit.
Organizer Mario Everse said that he is content: “We have again been able to make regular clients happy and welcome many new people. We had buyers from all over the world again.”
50th edition
The team from Youhorse.auction is now making things ready for a special edition in July. Of course, on the regular, first Tuesday of the month: “Tuesday 2 July we focus on a nice mix of sport and breeding. This will already be our 50th online auction and we will do everything to make this edition extra special. Monday 10 June and Tuesday 11 June are on the agenda as the selection and video days and we still have some room left!
