Youhorse.auction made a grand gesture in its 50th edition with an exceptionally strong anniversary collection. The nine-year-old 1.40m showjumping horse Kasjmir crowned the evening with a top price of €50,000.

Organizer Mario Everse says: “50 editions of Youhorse.auction is a wonderful milestone that we are all very proud of. We had put together a large and interesting collection for this special auction. Initially, we were going to auction the collection over two days, but we received several requests to let the entire auction end on our usual Tuesday evening. We like to respond to market demands, so we made it one festive evening!”

‘Growth is far from over’
And it was indeed a celebration, with guests from both home and abroad: “The collection was very well received. We received many enthusiastic responses immediately after the online launch. It is remarkable to see how large our reach has become over these 50 auctions and great to welcome many returning customers. Youhorse.auction now attracts attention from all over the world, and we welcome new bidders and buyers every month. So, the growth is far from over!”

Kasjmir (El Salvador x Landeur) has already won the regional championship of Brabant twice and was also at the forefront of Youhorse.auction’s anniversary auction. The nine-year-old gelding with 1.40m experience is one of three horses moving to the United States. The United Arab Emirates secured five horses but lost a bidding duel for the four-year-old El La Star Z to buyers from Suriname. This high-quality mare by Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof fetched €28,000.

The virtual hammer fell three times at €26,000. The seven-year-old gelding Helium du Vlist Z (Hermantico x Starman) will move to the United Kingdom. Age-mate Rixon van het Netehof (Nixon van ’t Meulenhof x Maui La Silla) departs for Turkey. Belgian buyers set their sights on the twelve-year-old mare Mystique van de Kruiskouter (Emerald van ’t Ruytershof x Gotthardsen). France, Spain, and Romania placed the winning bids on six, five and four horses, respectively.

Next auction: 6 August
With a successful anniversary behind them, the organization is already looking forward to the next auctions: “On to 100! On Tuesday, August 6, we will auction a beautiful mix of sport and breeding horses. Monday, July 15, and Tuesday, July 16 are the selection- and video days, and we still have a few spots available. So, if people want to sell an outstanding sport horse, good foal, or interestingly bred embryo, they can quickly register via www.youhorse.auction“, concludes Mario Everse.
