The two-day Youhorse.auction culminated in an electrifying finale on Tuesday 6 August. After Monday’s breeding collection saw strong demand, the excitement was amplified during the sport horse auction on the second day. The nine-year-old Primero H.H. van de Ruiter lived up to his name by topping the list with a sale price of €38,000.
Poland emerged as the leader on the second auction night, securing six investments. One buyer demonstrated a keen eye for quality, acquiring several top horses. Among their purchases was the auction topper Primero HH van de Ruiter (Corydon van T&L x Corrado I), a gelding with experience up to the 1.35m level. He was joined by the six-year-olds Nadelina BH (Interadel BH x Cantos), sold for €30,000, and Maloubet de Rigo Z (Matisse de Mariposa x Kannan), sold for €16,000. The four-year-old Tonka Pommex Z (Tobago Z x Kannan), which went for €28,000, is also set for a career in Poland.
Once again, the Youhorse.auction horses will be heading to destinations around the globe. The four-year-old gelding Dolce Far Niente Z (Dollar du Rouet x Mr. Cielo ÒDTH Z) was sold for €30,000 to the United States. The four-year-old mare Pretty Princess (Eldorado van de Zeshoek x Chin Chin) will be moving to Norway for €24,000. The five-year-old mare Cozycody (Cody x Feuerwerk) will continue her career in Denmark for €19,000.

Organizer Mario Everse commented, “We’ve had two wonderful auctions. The breeding auction on Monday was a success and the sport horse auction was also a great one. We are pleased and proud that the response from both horse owners and buyers has been so positive. On to the next one!”
A mix of sport and breeding
The Youhorse.auction team is looking forward to the next edition: “On Tuesday, September 3, everyone can prepare for a new auction. We aim to assemble another strong collection on Monday, August 12, and Tuesday, August 13. This mix of sport and breeding has proven successful, so if the supply is sufficient, we will follow the same formula in September!”
“This means that on Monday, we will not only select loose jumping talents but also reserve spots for foals and broodmares. On Tuesday, we’ll build a course for the ridden horses. If anyone wants to sell a talented horse, good foal or interestingly bred broodmare, they can still sign up quickly via www.youhorse.auction,” concluded Mario Everse.
