From September 18 to 22, the world’s most talented five-, six-, and seven-year-old show jumpers will once again compete at Domein Zangersheide. Besides the FEI WBFSH Jumping World Breeding Championship for Young Horses, there are many more highlights on the program, such as the Sires of the World, the Belgian Showjumping Championship and the stallion selection of Studbook Zangersheide. The program also features a range of Zangersheide Quality Auctions, whereby the first edition of the Zangersheide Quality Jumpers – powered by MBA stands out.
During the 29th edition of the event, a selection of the best performing young horses from all over the world will once again delight the showjumping world. Four days long the talents of the future, national champions and former medalists of previous years will make their appearance in Lanaken.

Medalists defending their titles
On the start list, last year’s silver and bronze medalists, Boleybawn Alvaro (by Dominator 2000 Z x Crown Z) with rider Niamh McEvoy (IRE) and Ballyshan BF Super Hero with Jason Foley (IRE) are now competing in the six-year-olds. In the seven-year-olds, German rider Katrin Eckermann and Iron Dames Cascajall will defend the winner’s title that the Casallco gelding out of a Comme Il Faut mare won in 2023 in the six-year-olds.

Most complete program ever
In addition to the World Championships for Young Horses, the event also offers numerous other highlights, including the FEI Sires of the World, where approved stallions will make their mark. In addition, the prize-giving ceremony of the Z-Ranking and the stallion selection of Studbook Zangersheide will take place as well. Also, the best Belgian combinations will take up the challenge to earn the title of Belgian Champion.
