“What a fantastic evening! And we are already looking forward to the next milestone,” says a proud Mario Everse. “We are extremely grateful for the growth of Youhorse.auction into a global platform. Our thanks go to the consignors, who can showcase their horses worldwide through us, and of course to our amazing team. The best part of an auction is bringing people together: satisfied buyers and satisfied sellers. And the magic of the selection days… discovering a top talent that ultimately becomes the auction topper. That remains special every time.”
Youhorse.auction sees its group of satisfied buyers steadily growing. “The references keep piling up. More and more often, we receive videos and results of horses sold through our auction that are now performing successfully. That is perhaps the best proof that we are on the right track,” says Mario Everse.
From Spain to Saudi Arabia
The Mecklenburg-approved stallion Armilou (Armison x Balou du Rouet) was a worthy highlight of the 60th edition of Youhorse.auction. The six-year-old stallion was evidently also approved by Spanish buyers, fetching a price of 38,000 euros. However, the three-year-old mare Saturday Night VDB (Donthargos x Back Gammon) was not far behind. With a bid of 34,000 euros, she was purchased by buyers from the United States.
The four-year-old mare Virreina vd Donkhoeve (Charisto vd Heffinck x Kato T Z) was sold to Poland for 26,000 euros. From the same breeder, Victoria P vd Donkhoeve (Qupido x Verdi) also heads to Poland for 22,000 euros.
Two seven-year-olds will continue their careers in Sweden: the gelding Carlo VA (Clarimo x Alcatraz) for 22,000 euros and the mare Diamond’s Lady (Diamant de Semilly x Burggraaf) for 19,000 euros. The six-year-old gelding Chaccolano (Chacgrano x Landor S) received the winning bid of 18,000 euros from Saudi Arabia. The same amount was paid for the nine-year-old gelding Baron van Nesha (Balpar de Trebox Z x Concorde) by buyers from Romania.
Summer sport horse auction in May
The next Youhorse.auction will take place on Tuesday, May 6, and promises another strong collection of sport horses. “This is an edition you don’t want to miss,” says Mario Everse.
The video and selection days for this May auction are scheduled for Monday, April 14, and Tuesday, April 15. Consignors who wish to sell their horses before the summer can register via www.youhorse.auction. “We are always looking for talented horses for professional sport, but also for well-behaved, healthy horses suitable for ambitious amateurs.”
